The Winvian Farm Spa is a quiet sanctuary not to be rushed but to relax and rejuvenate. Trees and sky fill the great arching windows of the meditation lounge where everything shimmers with the radiance of the reflecting pool. Seed-to-Table

Almost everything served in Winvian Farm’s revered restaurant is grown on the private estate in three greenhouses and three acres of organic gardens. Honey from the apiary, a henhouse, root cellar and luscious fruit trees round out the artfully open-ended menus. Even the dining room bouquets come from Winvian Farm’s heady flower and herb beds.

Things to Do

All 113 acres at Winvian Farm are yours to play upon. Cruiser bikes stand at the ready for jaunts around the farm. Or walk the winding paths of the glorious organic gardens. In addition to the spa, enjoy countless simple pleasures such as hiking, hot air ballooning, fly fishing, kayaking, tennis, golf and horseback riding.

Accommodations

The luxury accommodations are worlds unto themselves, nestled into the surrounding Connecticut woodlands and meadows. A team of 15 architects designed the 18 unique resort cottages and the Hadley Suite, each with its own story to tell, each a surprise, an escape, a splendid adventure. Guests can choose to stay in a two-level treehouse, a greenhouse, a musical conservatory, a lighthouse in the middle of the forest or a lodge built around a massive oak tree.

Terms

A one-night stay is only available mid-week; there is a 2-night minimum stay for weekends.

Deposit

If booking within 30 days a 100% deposit will be required. If booking more than 30 days out a 50% deposit will be taken, with the remaining 50% charged 30 days prior to arrival.

Credits

$100 spa credit is not applicable to yoga or spa products.

Rates

Posted rates do not include tax & service charges. The tax breakdown is as follows:

CT Sales Tax: 1.06%
CT Lodging Tax: 14.3%
Service Charge: 12.14%

Cancellation

Due to the small size of the property and the propensity of advanced bookings, cancellations affect them significantly. Therefore, this property adheres to a strict reservation and cancellation policy.

If a Covid-related situation arises that requires you to alter your plans, they will do one of the following:

Move your reservation to a future date or issue a hotel credit voucher that will be valid for one full year and can be applied toward a future reservation. Otherwise any changes to the arrival date, departure date or cottage within your reservation is subject to the property’s availability at the time the change is requested.
Cancellations made 60 days prior will result in a refund of your deposit less a $200.00 administrative fee for entire stay. Holiday stays are non-refundable.
Cancellations made 31 – 59 days prior to the arrival policy will result in a full forfeit of your 50% deposit.
Cancellations made within 30 days of your confirmed arrival date will result in a 100% forfeiture of your entire stay amount.

Should you depart earlier than your intended stay, Winvian Farm will retain all amounts associated with your booking.

In the event you are rebooking a stay using a Hotel Credit Voucher and decide to cancel the new booking, it will result in a full forfeiture of the Hotel Credit Voucher. Hotel Credit Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be moved to a future booking once redeemed.
