Year-round Typical Temperatures (Low - High):

  • Winter (Dec-Feb): 35 - 60 degrees
  • Spring (Mar-May): 60 - 90 degrees
  • Summer (Jun-Aug): 70 - 100 degrees

It is situated 7 miles from Zion National Park East entrance and next to the Zion Ponderosa Resort.

You can access many hikes in Zion National Park from here without having to drive into the park to catch the shuttle. There are no crowds on the way out to Observation Point, the East Rim Trail or Cable mountain from the trails here, just quiet and solitude.
