At Vacayou, we aspire to be the world’s best resource for wellness-minded travelers to find & book the right travel experience that matches their lifestyle & enhances their well-being. How are we going to do this? Well first, we need to build an engaged audience of passionate wellness travelers – and that starts with our content. 

Vacayou inspires, motivates, and educates our travelers. Our unique content of wellness experiences & expertise is designed to help travelers connect with their passion and to be able to find & book the right trip to personally recharge, refresh, and enhance their overall well-being. 

As we prepare to launch, we are looking to develop 80-100 content pages that cover wellness destinations and experiences. So, we need a passionate copywriter committed to helping us develop these pages. We aren’t just looking for clear and informative content (that’s just a given), we need to bring these destinations to life and to create an immersive experience that takes the reader on a journey before they’ve even decided where to go. The right candidate will be a self-starter that is looking for an opportunity to bring their creativity to the page, to deliver against start-up deadlines (i.e. move fast), and to ensure the content gets delivered to perfection. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Create a specific set of content pages as assigned for the website. These pages include (but are not limited to) Destinations (i.e. US states, Canadian provinces, countries, states) and wellness or active Experiences. 
  • Build pages consisting of 400-500 words including:
    • A brief introduction (approximately 100 words): Captivating copy that makes the traveler dream of being in this particular wellness destination or living out the experience.
    • Three additional content blocks (approximately 100 words each) that continue to inform the traveler about the wellness destination or experience in a way that offers unique insight to help inform the traveler.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Creative, goal-driven mindset with a strong desire to exceed expectations
  • Organization skills to build repeatable, scalable processes 
  • Excellent communication skills with travel writing and editing experience 
  • Passion for bringing joy to those around you and the recipients of our content
  • Experience with SEO best practices
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver results 
  • Writer who thrives working in a start-up (i.e. unstructured) environment

Compensation:

  • $50 a page
  • Number of pages to be determined with supervisor
