What We Love

There's no better way to unwind than by lazying down the resort's lazy river. The Forest Oasis pool complex is a destination in and of itself complete with luxury cabana rentals. But of course, there's more to the resort than just a dip in their five pools. There are two championship golf courses, 21 tennis courts, a fitness center, an indulgent spa and over 200 miles of trails to hike and bike. At dusk, gather around the fire pit for delicious build-your-own s’mores. A host of other activities such as crafts, live music, games and tasty treats keep the fun and excitement going.

Golf

Two championship golf courses invite you to tee off in style. When you look around at the towering oak trees, it’s easy to see how the course got its name. The Oaks offers a test for golfers of all skill levels with its huge greenside bunkers, generous fairways and an 18th that sits on beautiful Lake Harrison. The resort's signature course, Panther Trail, offers undulating greens, large greenside and fairway bunkers. gently rolling fairways and tall Carolina Pines lining every hole. Led by a Magazine Top 100 Instructor, the Golf Performance Center is a comprehensive golf training facility. Short game and full swing instruction. Activities

Start your day with an outdoor workout on one of the many jogging and biking paths that wind through the resort’s woods. Or hit the fully-equipped fitness center with Precor cardiovascular machines, free weights and Hoist strength conditioning equipment. The heart of excitement at the resort, though, is the Forest Oasis pool complex, a vast waterscape. Here you’ll find fun all day (year-round), from the top of the 30-foot tower to the underwater marine mural below. Race down the slides, go on underwater treasure hunts or meander your way down the 1,005-foot lazy river. During the fall and winter, both the waterfall pool and double helix slide/pool are heated, plus you can cozy up on the pool deck with s’mores and toasty beverages. The resort is also home to 21 tennis courts.
