About Villas of Cave Creek

Cave Creek still feels like a frontier town, with independent shops, local restaurants and protected Sonoran Desert starting right at the edge of the main drag. It also happens to be one of the Phoenix metro's best-kept golf destinations. Villas of Cave Creek gives you a home base that actually feels like home. Championship golf courses are a short drive in every direction, with desert layouts that play through washes, boulder formations and dramatic elevation changes unique to this part of Arizona. Two outdoor pools, a courtyard with a fire pit, BBQ grills and a game room round out the on-site amenities. Cave Creek itself has a lively restaurant and bar scene with a distinctly Western personality, and Scottsdale is about 20 minutes south for a change of pace.

Worth Traveling For

Tee Off in Style

The desert golf around Cave Creek rewards the kind of golfer who pays attention. Courses in the area play through raw Sonoran terrain with tight target-style fairways, wash crossings, and greens framed by boulders and saguaros. Elevation changes keep you recalculating, and the dry Arizona climate means you can play comfortably almost every day of the year. Off the course, Cave Creek is a gateway to serious desert hiking. Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area covers miles of remote trails, from easy walks along the creek to steep climbs up Elephant Mountain. Cave Creek Regional Park offers its own network of paths through a riparian zone full of native plants and wildlife. Back at the resort, two outdoor pools and a fitness center keep you moving on days you skip the tee time.

Accommodations

Every villa here is a two-story townhouse with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and enough room for up to six guests. Full kitchens come equipped for real cooking, and in-unit washers and dryers make longer stays practical. Each villa has two fireplaces for cool desert evenings and a whirlpool tub for winding down after a day on the course. The real draw is the private backyard, where a personal hot tub lets you soak under open sky with mountain views and desert sunsets as the backdrop. Upstairs and downstairs living areas give families and groups the flexibility to spread out without stepping on each other. The Southwestern adobe exterior blends into the landscape, and the overall feel is more neighborhood than resort, which is exactly the point.
