Worth Traveling For

What We Love

If outdoor expeditions are what you live for, this is where you belong. Montana vacations are synonymous with outdoor adventure, be it fishing, rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking or just meandering across the rugged terrain. Back at the lodge, you'll have all the creature comforts of home but with a softer side of the Wild West, including deluxe guest rooms, hearty rustic fare handcrafted over an open wood fire and a full-service spa. Sage Lodge is just 35 minutes from Yellowstone National Park, making for an easy side trip.

Spa

Montana is known for its "get out there and get dirty" spirit, and Sage Lodge delivers on that front. But the resort has a softer side, too. The Spa at Sage Lodge offers massages, facials and body treatments built around herbal fusions, natural botanicals and seasonal specialties. The standout is the view of Paradise Valley from the steam room, sauna, hot tub and relaxation lounge, where tired muscles and busy minds get equal attention.

Activities

Set in the heart of Paradise Valley, Sage Lodge is a natural launchpad for fishing, rafting, snowshoeing, horseback riding, mountain biking and ranch trail walks. Fly fishing gets dedicated attention, with guided excursions and instruction to sharpen your skills on the water. Yellowstone National Park is just 35 minutes away, making a day trip an easy add to any stay.

Culinary Highlights

Eating well is part of the Montana experience, and two restaurants make the most of it. The casual Fireside Room serves sunrise-to-sunset meals with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking Paradise Valley. The Grill takes a different approach, cooking over an open wood fire with foraged herbs, house-cured meats from local ranches and garden-fresh produce from nearby farms. Northwest craft beers and spirits round out both menus.
