What We Love
Yes, horseback riding is the main attraction here but there are plenty of other activities to keep non-equestrians busy, too, like fishing, archery, geocaching, fitness hikes, kayaking, sporting clays, bike tours and more! You'll almost need a vacation from your vacation at the ranch and probably a diet (the food is that good). Seriously though, when there's a well-trained ranch staff, 300,000 stunning acres of Idaho forest, 100 horses and amazing sunsets, it’s going to be tough finding anything better. But don’t let us tell you, experience it yourself. It’ll be an adventure to remember at this dude ranch.
Riding
Horseback riding here is an everyday experience. You’ll have miles of trails, a knowledgeable wrangler, a trusty horse and the ability to go wherever your skills can take you during your horseback riding vacation! Before you arrive you will be paired with a horse for the week, chosen for you based on the information you provide. Riders have at least two opportunities for exhilarating, western-style horseback riding each day. There are rides scheduled throughout the week for all skill levels. All horseback rides leave from the valley and travel to unique vistas, viewpoints or peaks.
Activities
While horseback riding is an exceedingly popular activity, you’ll have ample opportunity to choose from any of the outdoor adventures in store for everyone. Massages, fitness hikes, kayaking, geocaching, hiking and biking and fishing at the pond. There’s also a swimming pool, hot tubs, disc golf, horseshoes, basketball, lawn games, a library and family board games at the lodge. Every evening has something fun planned from campfires to hanging out in the Old West Saloon. You’ll need the entire week to fit it all in.
Culinary Highlights
In the spirit of a great Rocky Mountain ranch, grandma’s recipes are alive and well. With guests visiting from all over the world, the menus are diverse, yet simplified to please different appetites. The chefs will delight you with daily homemade fresh-baked breads, endless buffets, multi-course dining and outdoor western ranch cooking. All of your entrees, appetizers and salads are made fresh daily. Lunches and dinners always include salad and regional produce whenever possible, as well as homemade bread and desserts.

Accommodations
Lodging options include everything from one-bedroom suites to four-bedroom authentic log cabins. Plenty of western flavor, comfort and tasteful decorations will make you truly feel like you’re home away from home. You’ll have plenty of room to stretch out in the evenings at the main lodge, and the swimming pool is not too far away, either. Privacy can be found in your suite, but around the lodge, you’ll find wonderful conversations, a host of friendly staff and a spectacular view from the main deck. Each accommodation includes full private bathrooms with plush towels, shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion and other items to make you feel welcomed.
