About Rancho Mañana

Ranching and gold mining put Cave Creek on the map, but golf is what keeps visitors coming back. The town sits in the Sonoran Desert foothills, less than an hour north of Phoenix, still holding onto its frontier character with art galleries, western shops and trail rides through saguaro-studded backcountry. Rancho Mañana, a Hilton Vacation Club, is planted right in the middle of it, with championship golf steps from your front door and some of the best desert dining in the Valley just across the courtyard. The heated pool area with its rock waterfalls, hot tub and mountain views are a short walk from every casita. The on-site restaurant, housed in the original 1940s dude ranch structures, serves award-winning Southwestern plates on a patio overlooking the golf course and Skull Mesa. Scottsdale's shopping and nightlife are a short drive if you want them, but most guests don't.

Worth Traveling For

Tee Off in Style

The stretch between Scottsdale and Cave Creek is loaded with desert golf. Fairways thread through washes and rocky terrain with elevation swings that change your club selection from hole to hole. Target-style layouts demand accuracy over distance, and the backdrop shifts from mountain silhouettes to towering saguaros and open desert sky. The dry Arizona climate keeps conditions playable year-round. Cave Creek is also a gateway to some of the most rugged hiking in the Phoenix metro. Trails at Cave Creek Regional Park wind through a riparian corridor thick with native plants and wildlife, while Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area offers everything from easy creek-side walks to tougher treks up Elephant Mountain. Local outfitters also run horseback trail rides deep into the backcountry.

Accommodations

The casitas at Rancho Mañana are built for settling in, not passing through. Two-bedroom layouts feature full gourmet kitchens equipped with professional-grade appliances, separate living and dining areas, gas fireplaces, and private balconies or patios looking out toward the golf course and desert mountains. Tile floors, plantation shutters and Southwestern finishes give the interiors a distinctly Arizona feel without veering into theme-park territory. Each casita has two full bathrooms, in-unit laundry, and enough space for families or two couples traveling together. BBQ grills are available on the grounds for evenings when you'd rather cook outside than fire up the kitchen.
