The ten spacious, delightfully private bures (villas) are nestled amidst the palm trees, each with a tropical garden and a large timber deck furnished with a comfortable day bed. Fusing traditional Fijian and Mediterranean design elements, the bures have generous open-plan living areas with king-size bed, extensive built-in sofa seating and bathrooms with shower and countertop basins atop beautifully finished local hardwood. Whitewashed walls create light and space, embellished by colorful Asian accents, while highly effective ceiling fans and louvered windows cool the bures naturally. Glass doors across the front of each villa slide right back to create seamless indoor/outdoor living aspects. Traditional thatched Fijian roofs make a stunning feature, with ceilings designed by local craftsmen using sacred nokonoko timbers soaring to eight meters high.
