Wellness is an integral part of the Mohonk experience since its founding in 1869. The tradition carries on today with an award-winning spa that features nature-inspired therapies and experiences. Spa amenities include 16 treatment rooms, relaxation verandas, a solarium, an outdoor heated mineral pool, an indoor heated pool, a fitness center and a yoga/motion studio.

In addition to luxurious skin and body care treatments, you’ll also find mindfulness opportunities through meditative hikes and forest bathing sessions that not only quiet your mind but ground you with the moment.

Whether it's a hike through the 85-miles of trails, trying your hand at tomahawk throwing, developing your rock scrambling skills or taking in the serene silence, you can be as active or as relaxed as you choose.

Year-round recreation includes ice skating, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter, with paddle-boarding, swimming and fly fishing on tap in the summer months. Activities also include movie nights, live music, and nature presentations and workshops.

Mohonk’s award-winning culinary team is committed to serving farm-to-table cuisine that includes seasonal and local ingredients from the Hudson Valley whenever possible. The chefs are more than happy to prepare sumptuous meals and enticing entrées to accommodate health-conscious guests and those with dietary restrictions. The historic main dining room features dramatic cathedral ceilings, original woodwork from 1893 and panoramic views of the Catskill Mountains.
