What We Love

Kauai golf offers a mix that's hard to find elsewhere. Courses that move from jungle canopy to ocean views, holes framed by volcanic ridges and waterfalls and layouts where trade winds shift constantly. Most courses are within a 30-minute drive from Marriott's Kauai Beach Club, and the Lihue location makes it easy to reach both north and south shore greens. Back at the resort, Kalapaki Beach is genuinely one of the better family beaches on Kauai. The bay is protected, the waves stay small, and the sandy bottom makes it ideal for swimming, snorkeling and beginner surfing lessons, with rentals available right on the beach. Alexander Day Spa provides massages, facials, body scrubs and wraps, with some treatments available beachside in cabanas. The resort also runs nightly torchlighting ceremonies and occasional luaus.
