All kidding aside, Half-Mile Farm is an adults-only luxury boutique hotel that beckons guests with beautifully decorated country suites and rustic-luxe cabins that offer views of the glistening lake and rolling mountains. Activities

Besides the on-site amenities, guests can meander along the woodlands for hiking, biking, ziplining and horseback riding as well as discover the lake and rivers for fishing, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding and whitewater rafting.

Guests also have exclusive access to the Old Edwards Club where they can play a round of golf or a game of tennis surrounded by the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Culinary Highlights

Dining is an intimate affair at Half-Mile Farm. Mouthwatering farm-to-table cuisine starts each day with a hearty breakfast from local ingredients and produce from the on-site organic gardens. Every afternoon guests come together for appetizers in the main house. And throughout the day guests can celebrate with light bites and drinks at the J. Henry Farmhouse Tavern. Off-property privileges extend to restaurants that showcase the seasonal foods and local fare of North Carolina.
