About Dunes Village Resort

Dunes Village Resort sits in the quieter, residential stretch of North Myrtle Beach, right on the sand with the Atlantic at your doorstep. The resort is spread across two towers—Palms and Palmetto—connected by a shared pool deck and a pair of indoor waterparks. Dunes Village is one of the few Myrtle Beach resorts where you can genuinely spend days on-site without running out of things to do, which works particularly well for families with kids who need variety and for golfers who want easy access to the region's courses without the noise and congestion of the central strip. The location puts you within a few miles of Broadway at the Beach, the Boardwalk and Barefoot Landing, but far enough north that the beach itself stays relatively uncrowded.

Worth Traveling For

What We Love

Golfers who choose Myrtle Beach come for the sheer concentration of quality courses packed into a small area, and Dunes Village sits close enough to the best fairways that you can play an early round and be back at the resort for lunch. Back at the property, the water amenities are the main draw. The two indoor waterparks stay heated year-round and feature lazy rivers, speed slides, whirlpools, and dedicated kids' zones with splash buckets and a submarine-themed play structure. Outside, the oceanfront pool deck stretches along the beach with multiple pools, an outdoor lazy river and cabanas available for rent. The resort also runs a daily kids' club with supervised activities like scavenger hunts, crafts, and games, which gives parents some breathing room. For wellness, the Lost in Serenity Spa offers massage services, including beachside cabana treatments when weather permits.

Accommodations

The units at Dunes Village are sized for longer stays and built with families in mind. Studios come with kitchenettes and sleep up to four, while one- through four-bedroom suites and condos step up to full kitchens, separate living and dining areas, in-unit washers and dryers, and multiple bathrooms. The larger condos can comfortably sleep ten to sixteen guests, which makes them workable for multi-family trips or extended groups. Every unit includes a private balcony, and most offer direct ocean views or angled views that still capture the water. The interiors lean coastal and straightforward, with tile floors, granite countertops and furniture that prioritizes function over flair.
