Meaning "peace" in Sanskrit, Shambhala alludes to the pursuit of balance. The Estate's approach to wellness is rooted in its unique location: a jungle enclave above a rushing river, with a spring that provides mineral water. Spa facilities include a vitality pool, private treatment areas, a climbing wall, fitness center, Pilates studio and yoga pavilion. Resident experts are on hand to support your 360-degree approach to wellness and include a yoga master, Ayurvedic doctor and guides for outdoor activities.
The secluded location means there’s always something to explore on the grounds. Discover the hidden water garden at the jungled heart of the Estate. Spend mornings or afternoons swimming in or lounging beside sunlit pools of mineral water. Then come up for air to eat a delicious breakfast or lunch picnic. For an even more authentic experience, receive a water blessing at the Estate's sacred spring. A priest will guide you through washing in holy water, making offerings and giving thanks.

Multi-room residences and standalone villas create a sense of home set into the forest and jungle clearings, with design inspired by Indonesia's rich culture. Accommodations feature local stone, teakwood and traditional alang-alang roofing, inspired by wind, earth, fire, water and forest. The guest rooms and suites are plush and traditionally furnished, with verandas and four-poster beds. For an even more intimate experience, villas are available that include their own private outdoor pools.
