Work-Life balance can be challenging, and the price we pay for prioritizing work consistently over our health is burn-out. It’s a tightrope many people walk daily. Excelling in our careers and at life can be exhilarating and personally fulfilling, but an overly demanding workload and consistent stress can compromise our personal wellness. When that happens, eventually the passion we have for life starts to diminish and we are left with the negative effects of stress. Here are a few warning signs that you might be traveling down the burn-out path:
Unhealthy Behaviors Rev-Up
Part of the burn-out dynamic includes an increase in unhealthy behaviors like sleeping less, drinking more alcohol, stress eating, emotional eating, inconsistent eating, and less exercise.
Fatigue and Trouble Concentrating Become Commonplace
