Sage Lodge guest rooms are designed with comfort in mind, affording you a place to unwind or just be in a space where everything is taken care of for you. The Lodge King rooms offer the ultimate in comfort. Get cozy by the gas fireplace or step out onto your balcony or patio to take in the scenery. Each room includes one king bed, a gas fireplace, walk-in shower and a separate sitting area with a queen pullout sleeper sofa.

Part of the beauty of getting away to Sage Lodge includes the promise of great dining. Eating well is part of the experience, and you'll be able to indulge in rustic, bold and authentic Montana fare from The Grill to The Fireside Room made from fresh produce provided by local ranches and nearby farms. Pair it with plenty of Northwest craft beers and spirits.

Accomodations

Inside and out, every space is infused with a touch of western comfort. The elegant guest rooms in the main lodge are designed as a space to unwind, de-stress or just be. Gaze out the windows, settle into a reading nook, or lounge on the balcony and lose yourself in the scenery. 

There are also four free-standing Ranch Houses that offer everything you need for a group getaway or retreat, including four separate guest rooms totaling six king beds and two queen pullout sofas, with a private bathroom in each guest room. All rooms connect to a spectacular space including a full kitchen, dining area, living room, double-sided gas fireplace and private patio with outdoor fireplace. A Ranch House is ideal for families, a group of friends, or couples and can accommodate up to 16 guests.

Sage Lodge is approximately one hour from Bozeman International Airport (BZN). Please inquire within about preferred shuttle partners.

Dogs are welcome at Sage Lodge as part of their Pooch Paradise program for a non-refundable fee of $75 per stay. Dog-friendly rooms are limited and based on availability, so advance reservations are required. There is a maximum of two dogs per room. They happily welcome four-legged guests without weight, height or breed restrictions.

Yes, they happily offer pet-free rooms to those with allergies.

Their fitness center is open 24 hours a day and has a treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, weight bench and free weights.

Yes, they offer room service from the Fireside Room between the hours of 8 am - 9 pm.

Yes, they offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options on their menus and will also customize menu offerings due to dietary restrictions.

There are numerous iconic attractions near Sage Lodge. The north entrance of Yellowstone National Park is just 35 minutes away, which is open year-round. The Yellowstone River runs right through their lower property—famous for world-class fly fishing, rafting, and kayaking. The charming small town of Livingston is 30 minutes north, with dining, shopping, and art attractions.

Cancellations

Reservation must be canceled 7 days prior to arrival for a refund, minus a 5% cancellation fee.

Deposit

50% of the reservation total will be charged at the time of booking with the remaining balance charged 7-days prior to arrival. Once full payment is collected it is non-refundable.

Resort Fee

Sage Lodge has a Resort Fee of $35 per room, per night + tax which includes the following:

  • Private Pond Fly Fishing
  • Access to our private trout Casting Pond
  • Fly rods and tackle for use on the Casting Pond
  • Gear Room access and activity rental gear to enhance your adventure throughout our 1,200 acres of hiking and biking trails. Rental gear is first come first served and based on availability. Available gear may include, but is not limited to: STANLEY coolers, vacuum bottles, and backcountry picnic gear, Binoculars, Hiking Poles, Bikes, Snowshoes, Maps, Folding Camp Chairs, Naturalist library Field Guides, Self-service stocked laundry facility, In-room Nespresso® coffee, High-speed Wi-Fi
