Imagine returning from a trip really fit while feeling amazing, looking great and having a massive confidence boost! Getting away from your daily routine is important to achieve these goals. Come to a Thailand fitness bootcamp and get all of the tools necessary to become a better you. This can be genuinely life-changing experience. You will see a physical improvement and you will benefit mentally as well.

You’re welcomed to come alone, as most do, to train with like-minded people in a very motivating environment. Guests get to know everyone, hang out with them, socialize with them and train together. It’s work hard play hard. It’s about the entire experience as well as the training.

Most people go for at least four weeks, but many turn up for two weeks due to time constraints with work. No matter how long you stay, you will see impressive results because you are there to train and you have all of the support and help needed to achieve the goals you set yourself. You also have a huge amount of support: both mental and physical. If you are serious about muscle gain or weight loss you should go for at least 4 to 6 weeks. If you go long-term for 8 to 12 weeks the results can be life-changing.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrive on a Sunday (recommended)

A representative will be waiting at Phuket International airport for you. You will be transferfed to your chosen accommodation where you can settle in and relax. Usually, a rep comes and introduces herself to you on Sunday evening.

Day 2Start your training

On Monday morning prior to starting your training, you will meet a client services representative. Details of who this will be will be in your pre-departure pack issued prior to arrival. The representative will give you a tour all of the training facilities, introduce you to your trainers and the rest of the group.

Usually even the most nervous of travelers have been quickly welcomed and felt part of the group very quickly. You will feel right at home, so do not worry about travelling alone as everyone is there for you.

Each training dayTrain on your own schedule

The first thing to mention is that no two days will be the same. Also, depending on your own personal fitness goals, timetables can vary depending on the fitness programs you select. You do not have to decide which classes to attend on your own as the fitness program will be tailor-made for you, so you can best work on the goals that you are facing.

The training facility has two gyms which you can use. An indoor gym and an outdoor gym. These are open from around 7 AM if you wanted to do a pre-group session warm up. Most people opt to jump straight into cross training which happens at 9 AM. It’s a highly intense program and last 45 minutes. At 10 o’clock the body 360 program starts — usually you would opt for cross-training or body 360 but you can do both if you have it in you.

Afternoons can include: nutrition seminar, mobility-recovering, stretching, calorie burn assault course, boxercise, weightlifting, strength conditioning, spinning and spin-core.

Sundays are generally taken off, with free time to explore the beautiful surroundings of Phuket. Evenings are taking your leisure as well, and Thailand has plenty of activities outside of the bootcamp that will really make this more than just a fitness holiday.

Last DayDepart

A fit, new you will say good-bye to your friends and you’ll head to Phuket International Airport for your trip home or to your next destination.

What's Included

Meals

Two healthy and nutritious meals are included per day. This consists of breakfast and either lunch or dinner. The meal plan is specially designed to complement your fitness training goals. Whether you want to lose weight, tone up or build muscle our menu has all the combinations you could ask for.

What about the extra meal? There is a wide selection of healthy restaurants and eateries close to the camp. These have sprung up to service the needs of our clients and are therefore tailor-made for people focusing on their fitness.

Eating out is not expensive in Thailand, expect to pay around $3-5 per meal.

Please note the meals are not transferable so if you miss out on a meal these are not redeemable the next day.

Daily training

On average people train 2 to 3 hours per day because they can mix and match different classes. There are a lot of group session options in Thailand. Plus they add on a yoga session or do some work outs in the 3-story air-conditioned gym.

Return airport transfer is not included. This can be arranged through the hotel and will cost approximately $13 in a taxi.

Social excursions

The training can be intense so it’s good to have your downtime as well. Typically Sunday is a rest day, and every couple of weeks a new excursion is organized for people to join. This can be visits to stunning beaches on some of the islands surrounding Phuket or lunch in some of the beautiful high-class resorts in Phuket. Often we take full advantage of infinity pools and five-star hotels! These excursions are organised but not included in the cost of the program. For instance, often you will have to pay for your lunch in one of the resort so expect to budget around $20 to $100 for this. But it’s well worth the expense when you see some of the locations we go to.

Supplements and vitamins

Post workout nutrition is a highly important factor whether you are looking to increase muscle mass or lose weight. So it’s good to know that there is a full range of health supplements, vitamins and pre-, during- and post-workout nutrition available at the camp. You are very welcome to bring this with you if you have a particular brand that you like, however, everything is available for you.

The main brands that are carried are optimum nutrition, muscle farm and muscle tech. If you are new to using workout supplements do not worry, there are expert nutritionists available to give you some guidance and point you in the right direction. You obviously don’t need to use pre-and-post workout supplements if you don’t want to, but they can be very effective to help you hit your fitness goals a lot quicker. Pre-workout supplements can fire you up, maximize your endurance and keep you going during your workouts. Especially in Thailand with the pace of training is full-on in a very hot humid environment.

Post-workout supplements are essential for help you repair damaged muscle tissue, enabling your body to recover quicker meaning you are ready to smash out your next workout the following day.

There are also a full range of vitamins, fat burners, fish oils and various other supplements available as well.

Q & A

Why train here?
At your disposal, you have a well-equipped 3-floor indoor gym and outdoor covered training area, military assault course and a sprint track. The whole set up cost close to $1 million to install. There are various health and support stations throughout the camp which provide nutrition advice, supplements and additional personal training. There is  a dedicated yoga studio as well.

The facility was finished in 2014 with fitness training in mind. What sets this apart from other training camps in Thailand is this is not a kickboxing or martial arts training center with a bit of fitness on the side. This is 100% custom built for fitness training — one of the best places to take a fitness holiday and train in the world!

Where is the camp?
The camp is located in Phuket near Chalong. This is in the south-central part of the island away from the tourist areas. The camp itself is surrounded by healthy eating bars and restaurants, health shops, and sports massage parlours. It’s basically like a fitness bubble, featuring our fitness bootcamp plus a number of Muay Thai training camps. If clients are into health and fitness this is the perfect place to come and do some serious training.

How do I get there?
Arrange your flight into Phuket International airport. You will be picked up from the airport at the exit to arrivals. There will be a representative there with a sign with your name on.

What must I bring?
Suitable training gear such as trainers, a couple of shorts, sports bras for the girls, and training tops. 3 quarter shorts are to work out in are great. Bring about 3 sets of workout outfits. You can pack light because you can buy everything there if necessary. If you have room, bring a beach towel as well as a towel for the gym.

Can I come alone?
YES! About 85% of people do this trip as a solo traveler. It’s a very sociable environment at the camp and you will make friends very quickly. You can also meet people online before you even leave home through an online buddy system (via Facebook) and you will all receive a number to be in the Whatsapp group before you arrive as well.

Will there be down time from training?
Yes! You’ll have time to hit the beaches and beach clubs and check out all the amazing viewpoints and look outs. You can get long tail boats to deserted paradise islands. There are also a range of tours you can undertake, like visiting James Bond Island or Phi Phi. 

What is the normal demographic split?
Probably 70% women 30% men. Both sexes tend to have different goals and motivations about booking the camp as well. With women it’s usually about toning up, weight loss and body confidence. With men it’s usually more about strength and conditioning training. Not exclusively, there are people who join for all reasons. The important thing to consider is everyone is catered for at the Bootcamp and people’s goals might change throughout their stay.

Room upgrades are available:
Boutique: Upgraded accommodation in another resort with a beautiful pool. The room typically consists of a studio style layout with a king-size bed and an additional window daybed for relaxation that can be converted to a queen-size extra bed.

Deluxe: Even more of an upgrade to a beautiful resort with 2 pools. It’s a 6-8 minute walk or 2 minute bike ride to the training camp. Bicycles are provided free of charge on request.

Camps run by Ultimate Fitness. Prices are in Euros. Any USD mentioned was converted using xe.com and is only an approximation of the actual cost. A 200 Euro deposit will be collected at time of booking. The camp is  closed Dec. 31, 2019-Jan. 1, 2020. Cancellation fees: 121 days or more before start date: €200; 120 – 91 days before start date 50% of fee payable at time of booking; 90 days or less before start date Full payment of fee at the time of booking. Travel insurance is highly recommended due to the physical nature of this trip.
