Raise Your Vibe With High-Vibrational Foods

Last updated June 28, 2023

As Hippocrates famously quoted: “Let medicine be thy food and food thy medicine. Nature itself is the best physician.” There is wisdom in this message. The ancient Greeks knew that if the food they were cooking comprised positive energy, their dishes would not only be masterpieces but would heal at the same time. The Greeks were on to something. Flash forward to today, and the concept of high-vibrational foods.

Much a lifestyle, a high-vibrational diet focuses on eating natural, whole foods that carry the energy of the sun and the Earth—and thus lead us to live at a higher vibe.

What does this mean without being hippie dippie? Keep reading to learn why you should eat high-vibrational foods and how to incorporate them into your day-to-day life.

Should You Eat High-Vibrational Foods?

You might be thinking what diet and eating has to do with vibrations. Well, everything. That’s right. Everything in the universe consists of energy.

This energy can be positive, neutral or negative. The frequency at which something or someone vibrates at depends on its health and overall feeling.

For example, a really positive, motivational and kind person might be described as high-vibrational. The same goes for the food that we eat.

A high-vibrational diet involves the consumption of high-vibrational foods. These are foods that have a high nutritional value, give us energy and contribute positively to our health, both physical and mental.

High-vibrational foods and a high-vibrational diet is one that will make you feel good in body, mind and spirit. It will also have a positive impact on your energy.

Feeling Good Inside-Out

High-vibrational foods are generally healthy foods with high nutritional value. They are foods that promote our well-being and make us feel good from the inside out.

This is the case from both a scientific and nutritional perspective as well as a personal perspective when it comes to our own relationship with food.

High-vibrational foods are normally associated with fresh foods that are non-GMO, organic and found in their natural state. They are unprocessed, whole foods.

Some examples of high-vibrational foods are berries, sweet potatoes, apples, cacao, fermented foods, lemons, avocados, olives, pomegranates, cucumber, mushrooms, spinach, garlic, ginger, spices and kale. Just to name a few.

Because a diet is such a personal choice so are the foods that one counts as high-vibrational.

Generally. all allergies and intolerances are avoided because these foods react with our system in a negative way. So, they can’t be deemed as beneficial to our energy. A tomato might be high-vibrational for one person yet for another with a tomato allergy the outcome is the opposite.

How to Eat a High-Vibrational Diet

If you already eat a nutritionally-dense, natural diet with a focus on fresh and non-processed foods, chances are you are already incorporating a high-vibrational diet into your lifestyle.

However, a high-vibrational diet isn’t just about what you eat. It’s also about your connection with your food. In order to raise your vibe around food, you can work toward reprogramming any limiting beliefs or fears around food. You can then set intentions around the kind of energy you want to absorb from your food.

A high-vibrational diet tends to extend beyond what you eat. It’s a lifestyle, not just a food plan. What you ingest from your environment matters, too. In order for your energy to vibrate as high as possible, it’s important to connect to your higher purpose, to the energy of the world, and to live in gratitude and kindness and limit the things that lower your vibration.

One of the ways to do this is to apply a filter to your life. Assess the energy that surrounds you and get rid of anything that isn’t serving you in a positive way. This includes social media, the news, your work environment and the people around you.

Spending more time outside can also help to live a more high-vibrational lifestyle. A connection with nature can help us recharge our batteries. Practices such as forest bathing, meditation and breathwork in nature help us to absorb more natural and positive energy.

It’s important to choose foods in their raw and natural form with as little processing as possible. A piece of fruit is far better than a snack bar. And raw 100% cacao is better than milk chocolate that’s full of additives and sugar.

The most important foods to avoid when thinking about transitioning to a high-vibrational diet are additives, refined sugars, gluten and refined grains, GMOs and processed foods. Everything you might expect when thinking about a healthy diet.

Don’t aim for perfection. In order to vibrate on a higher level, we really don’t need to eat perfectly healthy all the time. Allow yourself to eat intuitively and give your body what it needs. A slice of cake at a friend’s birthday? Go for it! A cheeseburger now and again? Why not?

Living fully is about finding balance in what we love. Sometimes this means allowing yourself to live in food freedom. And this is what makes us vibrate higher in the first place.
